The role of automated treasury reconciliation is to match
internal data (payments that are captured or generated
by KTP), with external sources of information like entries
from banking systems or treasury movements that are interfaced
to KTP.
Automatic Balancing
The automatic balancing feature allows automatic transfers
in order to obtain a specific bank balance situation.
For example, this feature may be enabled to generate
automatic transfer when one or several accounts of a
group have a negative balance of more than a specified
amount, or other business rules depending on the organizational
needs.
Netting
As the name suggests, KTP enables extensive netting
to be performed for all payments resulting from several
deals, expressed in same currency, with an identical
value date, with a given counterparty.
Interest Scales
KTP enables extensive interest scales calculations which
can be simulated or even back-dated. Scales can be calculated
both on debit and on credit sides for both nostro and
vostro accounts and may be set up according to tiered
balances. |
