Import - Export

KTP is able to import
• deals,
• cash movements,

• market data (from any data feed provider) and
• cashflows.

Processes and Reports Outputs
Each time a process or report is generated, the user can direct, the resulting output to screen/printer, to a printer or to a file. When exporting to a file, a large number of different pre-defined formats

Table Import/Export
KTP has an embedded table import and export feature. This functionality is generally used at implementation time. For example, a third party static data can quickly be integrated by giving the required format to the file (using an Excel spreadsheet) and importing it afterward. It is possible to import/export groups of partial (using a WHERE condition) or complete tables.

Interfaces

Interface Engine
A powerful interface engine is fully embedded within KTP and is able to:

• Import or export data (flat files or tables),
• Modify / create,
• Perform SQL queries in the source file,
• Automatically generate the output format by looking into the target database,
• Generate execution and error logs,
• Launch an exec file (or a batch) when finished.

The interface engine is able to test the output before generating a file or impacting the database.
