FDATA – Market Data Warehouse
Market Data Warehouse

Technical Architecture
FDATA is a Microsoft .Net Framework based application using Reuters SSL COM libraries and currently targeting an Oracle database.
FDATA retrieves and formats market data information from Reuters IDN network and stores it into Oracle tables, so they can be used for the valuation of financial instruments, reporting and/or performance measurements.

Integrated with Reuters KTP or Standalone
FDATA integrates closely with Reuters KTP and provides the market data required for the different KTP processes: rate reset, maturity process, portfolio reports, IFRS reports, marked to market valuation and IFRS effectiveness testing.

FDATA may also be used as a standalone application to store market data information into an Oracle database. This data can then be used by other internal or external applications and/or reporting packages.

Snapping Data in a few steps
FDATA ‘Snapshot’ will record rates, price values, or text in private pages from Reuters 3000Xtra at a pre-determined time of a day. Each individual security price, rates, currency, volatility and yield curve can have its own ‘Snapshot’ time allocated, regardless of the exchange or time zone differences.

Users have the flexibility to define the Start time, Stop time and Frequency in the setup screen for all data snapshots.
